Jaclyn and Jeff
Last Sunday we went to
Topanga State Beach to photograph Jaclyn and Jeff's engagement sitting. The weather was perfect, the time absolutely flew by; and you would've never known that they drove directly from
Glamis after riding all weekend (about a 4-5 hour drive) and they were still upbeat and super enthusiastic the whole time!! We had a lot of fun with you guys; thank you for the sweet note afterwards and we'll see you in June!

Nicolle and Matthew's Engagement Session
This weekend, Brian and I photographed Nicolle and Matthew in
Corona del Mar, CA for their April wedding in Placentia.
Actually, I met them a few years ago when Nicolle was the maid of honor at the wedding of Jennifer and Jon:
So when Nicolle and Matthew called me a few months ago and said that they were getting married, I was so excited. The second they walked through the door of my "second office" (Starbucks) and we started chatting, I knew this would be another fantastic time. Nicolle and Matthew, despite having to reschedule their sitting because of weather, and a sudden rain shower in the middle of this one, were great sports and so much fun. And by the way Matthew, you were right, that water was freezing but I think it was totally worth it in the end. We'll see you guys in a few weeks, and we're really looking forward to it!

Cate and Jeff (Part I)
Last weekend Brian and I photographed the most amazing wedding. Cate and Jeff (and their lovely minister, Mia) exchanged vows (on surfboards) in
Newport Beach, CA.Perfect wedding recessional lighting.
Cate, Jeff, and Mia (you would never know it was her first time on a surfboard)!
So, what do you do in the middle of the ocean when you might risk dropping the rings? Why, draw on each other with
Silver Sharpies of course!!!
Cate and Jeff (and their families) were a blast to work with. They must have been absolutely freezing at 6 pm and right out of the water, but you would never know; they were up for anything. As this is the first of two ceremonies, I cannot wait to see what they have planned for the
June wedding in Santa Barbara.
