09/04/2008: "Karan and Sean"
You know when you just get that lucky call? The one giving you good news, the one telling you the plane landed and someone you love is waiting for you, that first date or new job...this was one of those calls. I've been working with Charles Fretzin for years, he was the first photographer I worked for when I moved from Orange County to Los Angeles and knew nobody; and years later I have met some incredible brides through him. When he had to have minor surgery and couldn't photograph this wedding, he called to see if I was available for a wedding at The Brookside Golf Course, and luckily I was.
Upon first meeting Karan I knew this was going to be so much fun (I think fun is actually an understatement). From the vintage-inspired bridesmaid dresses, to the pink and brown polka dot theme, the plethora of photo time Karan scheduled (thank you, thank you, thank you), to the Hokey Pokey, it was a night I will absolutely not forget. Craig from Craig's Crew helped keep this party going well into the night.
Karan and Sean are the cutest couple; the cutest couple that managed to wrangle their entire wedding party into performing a choreographed zombie-inspired dance number to "Thriller," and ended the evening leading all of their firends and family in the Hokey Pokey.
Thank you Karan and Sean for meeting me so close to your wedding and for trusting me to capture your day; I sincerely appreciate your trust and had so much fun with you guys.
